After your artist applies the clear bandage, it should be left on for the amount of time your artist recommends, which is usually for 3 to 5 days.

It is normal to see a collection of blood and fluids under the bandage.

If the bandage peels or is punctured and leaking occurs, you may remove the bandage.

After the recommended amount of time to wear the bandage has passed, you should remove the bandage in the shower SLOWLY and GENTLY under warm water to loosen the adhesive. To remove the bandage, find an edge and pull it back over itself in the direction of hair growth.

After the bandage is removed, wash the tattoo with your artist's recommended cleanser. Be sure to gently wash off all fluid buildup left on your skin.
